| 18 months yesterday
This morning I have 547 days since my last drink, and I'm starting my 19th month. I've been here each morning most of that time, although I haven't posted recently. I wanted to tell all of you that reading your posts has played a big part in my sobriety, and I'm grateful to you for this support. But I've also learned that being truly sober isn't the same as just not drinking. It's a fundamental change of body, mind and spirit -- something I've begun to enjoy but on which I still work every day. So this seems like a good time to again confirm my commitment, not just to avoiding alcohol, but to becoming a truly sober person. For your help in this, again, I'm sincerely grateful.

Congrats on your 1 1/2 year. The differnents between misery and sobriety....yes?
