Unity.

Observations from The Tour Championship Golf Tournament.

Tiger Woods played with three amateurs during the practice
rounds. The amateurs played "best ball." That's when they each
use the best ball of the three.

The scorekeeper kept the score of the pro versus the score of
the amateur team.

Tiger Woods is arguably the best golfer in the world. The three
amateurs were just that, amateurs. Tom Ryan, Gene Lee and
Senator Saxby Chambliss were the three amateurs. They played
well but they were no match for a Tiger.

At least they weren't individually.

As I watched the scorekeeper carry the sign that indicated how
well they were doing I was shocked.

Tiger Woods was three under par. The more under par you are,
the better your score.

The amateurs were EIGHT under par.

How could this be?

Simple, the amateurs used their best ball of the three.
Tiger was on his own.

It was the principle of the strength of unity.

Three amateurs united were better than the world's greatest by
himself.

One can beat a thousand, two can beat ten thousand, and three
can beat anyone in the world if they just work together.
