You Have the Power

Rarely is anything ever as difficult as you first imagine it to be. More often than not, the greatest difficulty you must overcome is convincing yourself to get started.

Imagine what would happen if you could simply stop fighting with yourself and could just go ahead with whatever needs to be done. The great and empowering fact is, you can.

What if all the energy you put into avoiding effort was suddenly redirected into productive action? It can happen much more easily than you think.

What if you stopped making excuses and started making real progress? The good news is, you don't have to just imagine it.

You have the power to get yourself started. You have the power to overcome all those complaints and worries, anxieties, doubts and excuses that exist only within the confines of your mind.

For you control your mind, and your mind directs your actions. Make use of that awesome power, and truly great things will quickly begin to happen.

Sometimes I need to set fear aside, and self-criticism, before I find the strength to do what needs to be done.

Knowing that, I can begin my day with faith that whatever befalls me today, I can handle.

Hugs

I'm having one those days.
I got to get this poison out of me. I almost lost it.
I comprehend this concept very will.

This practice works great and is getting better when I aplly it to myself.
But I don't live in the woods.lol

But when dealing with others especailly with those that has no tools
or concept or way, way, deep still into the mind (ego). Holly scmolly !!!
I feel sick from it. My body is shaking. I havn't been to great at
confrontations. Just becuase I'm a nice guy or trying and learnding
to be more gental of a being. Some Egotic maniac mistaken me for a push over. And it's not like I havn't bashed somebody's head in before.
But the more I resist it, the more it persist.
We resist fighting everything and everybody, or surender.
I havn't been able to pratice tell'in some jerk off to go to hell in a nice.
I stood my grounds of course. Mmmm... the old adbrasive aproched.
I just don't enjoy that rush anymore.
Anyhow I'm feeling better already.
Recovery is work man !!! I never truned in a book report, yet to actually
sit and type.lmaf

Anyhow this came to me.
The simplicity of being a child.
As a kid playing with a merry round.
I knew I had the freedom to get on , or get off.
I had the power the spin it in what ever directions.
I also knew, I can stand, sit walk on the merry go round as it's spining.
But i also knew when it made me sick, it was time to get off the damn thing.
I didn't go into these great thoughts or try different aprroches of being
able to stay on the merry go round without being sick or dizzy.
I simply got off the damn thing. And of course there's always a jerk (not on)
that'll spin it faster knowing that you want to get off the spining wheel.
And of course, I didn't have a problem making a fist and and sticking out
arm and wack his silly arss. And of course, he'll go crying to a teahers
acting innocent and crap.
Has life really chaNGED that much??

Or perhapes , i got sicker as I got older, or rather my disease progressed.
The simplicity of geting out/off of the mind to remain in control.

Or by sitting in an antomobile to drive alter my perceptions and behaviors.
But if the damn car cought on fire....you run like hell wouldn't ya? lol
