I have had it with coffee. Recently I have been horribly aware of how much I use the black stuff to "fix". I look forward to it: sitting in London cafe bars pretentiously writing poetry, drinking coffee and smoking heavily. Its anal, anti life, and anti Millwallj. Look at this, some example of my thinking: I feel on the verge of a nervous break down, don't matter I can go for a coffee after work... ...or... I have just had a really hard day at the office, no matter, I can lounge around my local cafe bar reading Dylan Thomas pretending I am in Greenwhich village NYC with arty types. Okay, replace coffee with beer/whisky/cocaine and cafe bar with pub/bar/nightclub and you'll catch my drift. Sobriety from drink is one amazing thing, it is one huge leap in the right direction...however these other habits are just a silly waste of time and space and I have had enough of them. I have a desire to live a more productive life. Is coffee helping me, was drink helping me: NO. Next week I stop. lol. No really. Next wednesday I stop coffee for good. I am writing this thread to make it public which well help me keep to my word. Mj. Hope everyone is having a groovey day. |
