No More Bearing!!!!!!!!

Yesterday after my post of "Feeling a Little Dowm" I had tried to get a hold of someone from SR to talk to them, the did not answer, so I logged off. When I logged back on they said in effect that, they tried to bear there soul and did not get a lot of responses but when they post jokes that they get all sorts of responses. Well my sobriety in NO JOKE, But since it seems that what they say is true is some extent maybe I won't bear my soul anymore.

Vic, I'm sorry. I just checked and post isn't there. I must not have hit Post Reply before moving on. I gave some resourses for help. Right now I'm heading to DanaFaber to donate platlets to cancer patient. I'll repost the information at work this evening. Again, I'm really sorry to have messed up in your time of need. It was late here in Boston and I was trying to catch up after going to a funeral on Saturday for a co-workers mother. I'd just like to add that the most important part of your recovery is what you say/post, not what we say/post. Opening up like you are is heading towards recovery. We can't fix something until we admit it's broken. Don W

I agree with you Don and I do laugh but what I posted was NOT FUNNY, nor would I ever treat someone like that, if people here can not have compassion then all I have to say is FUCCK IT

Vic,I'm sorry you feel that way. Remember, most of us are sick here, and at various stages of recovery. Try to think positive. Maybe they were at meetings. Also, if you look all the boards were very inactive yesterday. Then you throw in the time difference. I understand this is fustrating but, you'll only add to the level. Don W

Are we talking about this thread? (Just Feeling a Little Down) It has 9 replies so far, and 8 of those are from yesterday. Like Don said, probably just a slow day, in fact I noticed it too yesterday, that it was a little less active than usual. ANd if this place lacks anything, it sure isn't compassion. Hang in there Vic, today is a new day!

I don't remember seeing your post yesterday, but I am sorry you're feeling down.

Today, I am crawling. Yesterday I was flat on my face, emotionally frozen, almost unable to move.

Why don't you crawl with me for the rest of the day. Hand/foot, hand/foot. Only 11 hours and 41 minutes to go til the day is done.

Like I said, I tried to respond to thread on PTSD Board seeking advice. I made a mistake and went off without hitting Post reply. Iam going to repost the answer to the post on PTSD. The operating room is busy right now so, it will be in about an hour. I have some sourses for you Vic and others that might be in the same spot. Hey like Doug said, we are full of alot of things here, one of them being compassion. Again, remember most of us speak from experencing the pain you now suffer. Don W

Don this really has nothing to do with you, I am grateful that you have tried to ease my pain today but I need to just work on it, I am still clean.

Thats not nice I hope that I never put anyone down on these threads, I am sorry now everyone is trying to see who and that is not important, they KNOW

thank you so much and I think we will make it threw this day. It just hurts when you think that you have found a friend and really they don't care about anyone but themselves, OH WELL< like I said in my Anything Positive Today thread I am grateful that I am not like some people.

Love Vic

Hi Vic,

Sorry your struggling. I know its tough some days. I have been lucky my daughter seems to have sprung back and I talk to her all the time now. My struggle is mostly between my ears from day to day, it varies so much. After four days sick with Flu I am getting ready for work and I feel about as alive and enthusiastic as a pancake that has been run over ny a Mac truck.

My point is what I choose to notice or focus on is what I get for the day and my perspective rules for that time, however if I change my focus then everything changes.

I Love you Vic, you help me a lot. Hope your day picks up.

When I stand on my own two feet and rely on my own self fullfillment I can grow. When I lean to much on another my growth is stumped and I loose my self as I've become to reliant on leaning on the other not learning how to stand upright alone.
