Sad and Angry

My girlfriends dad is about to die from alcoholisim. Only five percet of his liver is non toxic. He is full to the brim with toxins. He has a mouthfall of booze every hour of so to stop him having DT's. He is leaving behind a daugther and a son and a gradson. He lives in a small, pretty town in the English countryside. He was a young man once. My girlfriend just hopes he makes it until christmas. He is a loving, kind man.

He has told his daughter that he is going to die with a "bang". That he would rather kill himself with drink than be absinent.

Treasure your sobriety folks. I am really upset by this.

I know someone who's ex is doing the exact same thing. I don't want to be that... ever.
