Rumour has it that Dan is taking a break by his own choice for a while, and I'm sure he'll check in when he's ready. You might want to keep that phone number to yourself, though, just as a bit of respect for his privacy. We all miss him, and I have a feeling that he's fine.

it means just that.
They need a break.

Hey Chris, I got the humor behind it! I hope he comes back soon. I miss Dan.

But, I also know that sometimes people need a break and time to theirselves.

When I took a break from SR, many people assumed that I had returned to using and got really worried but in reality, I was sober and just needed some time away.
