Im Doing The Best I Can

My name is George (I'm well known around these parts, I reckon!). Anywayz, benzodiazepines are killing me slowly. Just like alocohol. I ran out of Valium and I'm pissed and irritable but it's not worth crying and having a fit over. I'm trying to quit cold turkey (and YES! it is almost impossible). I did it with cigarettes one time but thats different. Then I started smoking again at the age of 18.

Get Help!

Hi George, my name is Jocelyn and I am an addict. I have experience with Benzos, I was never physically addicted, but I was prescribed Klonipin, ativan, and Xanax for over 5 years until I just didn't want that crap anymore. But here is my advice (please listen!) Benzo w/d is dangerous, just like alcohol w/d. It can cause seizure and it can be DEADLY! Call your Doctor or go to the ER, you need to be properly weaned off of this type of medication. I wish you the best, but please don't do it alone! If you want to talk, PM me and I'll give you my email address.

Jocelyn
