Humility

hi everyone

Yesterday, i believe i truly grasped the concept of humility. I understood that I am a small peice of a big plan. God's plan. I now understand that i must walk under god. I am small in comparison to his great power. And I see how important it is for me to do this if i want to be happy. When I am humble I am turning my will over to something bigger than me, something with more power and infinite love. For a while i had been drifting away from the program and I felt like that passage in the big book that says something along the lines of "the man who is dry is like a man whistling in the dark, trying to convince himself he's happy"

I need my higher power. I cannot rely on myself for what lies ahead, or what I cannot change. I have to do the 3rd step prayer each and every morning, and put my heart into it.

I just wanted to share that.
