Have fun in Hawaii, MBob!
If you don't see me on SR for a week, know that I take my sobriety and program with me wherever I go! My husband and I enjoy going to meetings when on vacation. Always fun to see how others run their meetings.
Adios!

Since finding sobriety I have become an early riser. What a nice thing to wake up instead of "coming to!" What a nice thing to goo for a walk to start a productive day instead of laying there sick, obsessing over where I'll get the drink and drug I need for today, fearful of what will happen if I can't get any.
Recovery is so full of rewards!

(I don't retire for 2 yrs, 2 mos, but one thing about going to work early I'm going to miss is not having to wait at intersections--almost all are flashing red lights.) It seems odd on Saturday morning around 8:30 on my way to a meeting that the lights aren't flashing!
