The colour of your thought...
The colour of your thought...
Whilst I don't profess to be an expert on AA maxims and slogans, I am pretty familiar with most of them , nevertheless I enjoyed finding this one recently,
'When God seems far away, ask yourself who's moved.'
Although it seems to me, in recovery He seems to hold back on giving you things. By this I don't mean for one minute it's a test or examination, no,no,no...but perhaps echoed in Marcus Aurelius saying,'Your mind is dyed by the colour of your thoughts,'
From which it seems to me, if you want God in both your recovery and your life, He's already there,it's just a matter of changing your perception in a manner that compliments the colour of your thoughts...
