Sobriety at seventy....
Since I started my my recovery on the 15th of February, 2008 and am now enjoying a prolonged and hopefully, a day at a time, no room for complacency...period of sobriety.
The phrase,'Do not regret growing older it is a privilege denied to many,' is often brought to mind very much underpinned by the suggestion that 'God doesn't give you things you can't handle. He helps you handle the things you're given'.
Which in itself brings makes the passing of the years, although I remain young at heart all the sweeter...
