Was excited to get patio cleaned up but it is going to snow Thursday.
I knew better than to plant flowers before Memorial Day.

Up at 0430; now 0612 at work. Just read that my Aunt Margie died last week. She's the last of my mom's family. End of an era. I will find a way to honor her life today.

Woke up at 3 something and went back to sleep.

Doing some yard work before the weather goes south on us. The novelty of gardening may wear off but for now it's satisfying.
I have two active bird nests under the patio awning. I enjoy watching them. Bought some cushions, tablecloth and lantern. Its my "happy place"

Valentine, thanks. Your happy place sounds delightful. There's a Lazy Boy type chair in our living room that I only use Sat & Sun mornings for my quiet time. It's right next to where the dog lies when she's in the living room. I feel so protected in that chair.
