The silence of a busy office when everyone has left and the air system shuts down. (Yah, I'm working late today)....

The sound of my partner sleeping soundly next to me knowing that I can fall asleep rather than passing out before her.

The wind blowing the leaves on the trees.

Sound of silence in a morning.

The sound of coffee brewing in the morning as I lay in bed waiting for it to finish.

Right now I am listening to the rain fall in Southern California. We don't get nearly enough rain, so it is an enjoyable sound!

The 'Dead of Winter'. It's dark, the snow muffles sound, your headgear and scarf serve to further decrease any audible noise . It's so cold out not even the animals dare to venture.

My wife singing as she cooks our dinner.

The 15 kitties talking to me as I go outside.
A few are real talkers.

My wife will sometimes blast the tunes and sings at the top of her lungs early on a weekend morning. Not exactly a sound I enjoy in sobriety but thankful it's not painful anymore. (Now I wonder if she was testing me...)

The water heater bubbling hard on this early Sunday morning.

Means that we have hot water.
How many poor souls don't?
