42 is my answer to all number questions... (also see my signature below). Everything's great. Always. I have food, a roof, clean water, people I love some of whom love me back and I didn't have to sell my butt for a drink today. What could be bad?

90% again today. Did a small plumbing project by myself, and it worked! Work today was good, no drama anywhere in my life today. House is still messy, so not 100%. I'll have to fix that this weekend. But I also have an offer to spend the weekend at a friend's cabin in the north woods ... So I'll probably do that. Talk about serenity!

I was wondering when this was going to happen ?
Seems that I'm hitting my occasional depressed mode.
Not sure but, I feel something coming on ?
I've been working for some time now on being rid of these.
I think they happen every month or month and a half ?
Not sure ?
But, when I'm there all around me know.
Why do we want to pass it on to others ?

Visited an AA friend at the physical rehab center today.
Yes, at only 60 years old his drinking has destroyed his body and mind.
It's a shame but, we know that it happens to many.
Wish that he would have gotten this when he and I talked 4 or 5 years ago.
It was not meant to be for he went back out in a big way.
He returned to sobriety around a year ago.
The damage caused by his drinking behaviors was irreversible.
Now he lays in a bed with only one leg and rubber hoses throughout his body.
He also had a stroke a week back and his memory is weakened.
My serenity level at 4:00 PM is 95%.
Grateful that I stopped drinking when I did.

I was on 99%. Then it plummeted to about 5% when I realised car mot overdue and have been driving illegally for 2 months. Had a shower and ready to get proactive. I can deal with this, and I was very very lucky I wasn't caught or got involved in an accident. It wasn't intention and I just need to get more organized so it doesn't happen again.

Yep. Action taken. Went and spoke to the bank and arranged money so can sort car. This meant I got to have a lovely chat with a the finance advisor, somehow managing to cover poetry, meditation, God giving us what we need before we know we need it, and a whole host of other random stuff while being blasted by lovely cool air conditioning (it's very hot here today). Money now in account.
Called man I bought car from and he'll fit me in tomorrow. Phew.

Holding at about 80% today. Some stuff at work is proving to be more difficult than I thought it would be and I'm up against some deadlines. I can do it, just struggling a bit.

A fairly big day today. Volunteered to test a neighbor's water well for him today. Usually I make good money for doing these but, it's neighborly not to charge. I'm grateful today for the skills that have been granted.

70% so far today. Lots of big stuff happening at work. I'm fairly new at my job, and feeling rather out of my depth at the moment. There's personal stuff going on, too, but I'm trying my best to keep work at work and home at home. That has always been very difficult for me. Only got a few hours of sleep last night, worrying about today.
