Recovery is me having the clarity of mind when now leading a peaceful, sober, happy existence to wish all my friends, which includes those I've yet to meet in the United States here in cyberspace a Happy Thanksgiving. Which includes wishing you those things I wish for myself peace, health , happiness and prosperity according to your needs. Above all prolonged and lasting sobriety, without which none of these are possible....

Recovery for me at this early point is...facing,feeling,and cleaning up my past mistakes, and working on personal self issues that keeps me from " growing up". Facing life head on instead of burying my head in the sand. Learning to be more patient, fighting fair, learning to actually listen instead of talking all the time.
