I was in a car accident this morning!

I was involved in a car accident this morning driving a cab for a car service with 3 passengers. I was hit from behind by a driver on the belt pkwy.
Fortunately no one was hurt. I did however call it a day at work and I am losing another days pay, thus being a couple of extra days late paying my rent. The important thing here is no one was hurt and I am able to deal with this situation without having the desire toi pickup.
I am still hopeful that I will find a job in my field of Computers and can put this cab driving thing behind me as an experience.
It's funny, as bad as I feel about this whole situation I am in, I beleive I am actually lucky!
Yes this sober thing has helped me a lot, because I am now dealing with every adverse situation head on, instead of running away from it.
I am still hopeful that things will turn around for me. I suppose it could always be worse.

Hi Tom,

I am sorry to hear that you were in a car accident today, but I am very glad that everyone is ok. I live near DC, and the beltway scares me to death! Hope you have a better day.

God Bless

Red face

Hey Tom--So sorry about the accident. You are likely to be a little bit sore for a few days. Glad you are not letting it affect your recovery.

I can totally relate to the job situation. I just try to have faith that I will find the right job when the time is right. You will too!!!

Hang in there!!!
