Im Home From My Moms Funeral In TX It Was Hard But I Got Through It Im Still Sober My Ex Brought My Kids To The Funeral Got To Talk To Them For Awhile My Son Told Me That My Ex Is Dateing A Drunk For The First Time In Along Time Me And My Ex Did Not Fight She Asked If I Wanted To Call The Kids Sometime I Said Yeah I Know My Kids Are Still Mad At Me But Now That Im Sober Im Hopeing They Will Forgive Me But I Know It Will Take Awhile If They Do Im Glad I Got To See Them Well Im Going To A Meeting God Bless Brian |

Brian, thanks for keeping us posted. I wondered how everything went in Texas with the funeral, and getting to see your kids had to feel good! I can tell that you have been through some rough times with your past marriage, but also sense that you are healing a little. Of course, that could also be due to being sober! Take care Brian! Dave |

Good job Brian What I have found... as I changed they changed. As the steps help us grow, they see it and a respect does start to grow. One more added beni of being sober and working the steps.
