Time

I got to thinking today, that when I'm 27-28 would be a good time to adopt kiddos if I am not married yet. Then I started thinking that goals and dreams play a very big part of my clean time. I looked up to 27 and knew I could stay clean, then thought... ACKKKK... I had better start working on some more goals because right now it looks like in 7 years I am going to flop off of the wagon and land with a thud.

It is not about "today" and hasnt been for awhile. It is about seeing all these todays and putting "purpose" to them. For instance, I have been getting dressed up the past few days, I figure I am not going to look this good and young forever! And that felt good. I am not afraid of todays, I am just anxious to find purpose for them.

So I have decided to just tell myself I have to stay clean for the rest of my life because once 7 years rolls around with or without kiddos there will be something positive and challenging to fill my todays with. A whole new season of life! It was almost as if I had a purpose until 27 then ok, I would be ready for another fling with meth. But, that is not so, especially if I had kiddos! YIKES what a scarey thought, me with kids. Hopefully I will be ready then and if I am not I will know.

Thanks for letting me share. :okay:

Re: Time

Something that I hear around hear alot is "if you want to make God laught, make plans"
It's ok to have plans, just don't plan the results, you will always be disappointed.
