| Epsom Salt Bath!
Ted, From reading your acupuncture thread, I got to thinking... about ways to relax the mind and body! Not just, "a cup of tea", although I do drink a lot of decaf green tea! So, somewhere on here I read about an Epsom Salt bath, and figured I needed one. HAHA. Today left me feeling 87. So, I ran a bath with the salts, got a big glass of water, and "hopped" in. AHHHHHHHHHH... it works. I'll tell ya. I got out of that bath feeling like I had just had a week's vacation! NOW... I have to try acuncture! Hugs, dot

I am always saying that vitamins and minerals are good for you especially when detoxing (acute or long term)...this is another good example...the epsom salts actually puts magnesium into your body through the skin, this helps improve your heart's performance, aids in stabilizing blood sugar and can improve brain performance...and the mehtod of using it, taking a hot bath...it's all good!! This post tickled me. I have been a epson salt gal for years. First used it when I fell off and got drug by my horse and was aching from head to toe. Been hooked ever since and say "Heck to the Callgon, give me Epson salt anyday"! J was hurting from dirt bike rididng the other day, ontop of stressing from some bills and stuff and I told him to try an epson salt bath and I think he thought I was nuts. But he gave in and tried it and said "dang who would have though a 1.00 worth of salt could make ya feel like a million bucks" LOL! If you havn't tried it yet, give it a shot, and the hotter the water the better! And if you aren't a bath kind of person, just soak your feet in a hot tub of water with epsom salt, even that makes ys feel great.
