Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

Been sober since 8-11-90 by the Grace
of my HP and people like you here in SR.
For that Im truely grateful.

If you are married or have been been
married, do you recall your marriage
vows you made to each other?

I, (Bride/Groom), take you (Groom/Bride),
to be my (wife/husband), to have and to
hold from this day forward, for better or
for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness
and in health, to love and to cherish;
from this day forward until death do us part.


Then we have our 3rd step recovery
prayer:

God or HP I offer myself to Thee, to
build with me and to do with me as
Thou wilt. Relieve me of bondage of
self, that I may better do thy will.
Take away my difficulties, that
victory over them may bear witness
to those I would help of Thy Power,
Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life.
May I do Thy will always..!

Do u see similarities in both as i do?


How about:

I Sharon take thee AA RECOVERY
to strengthen and to guide me
from this day forward. For better
or worse, for richer or poorer, in
sickness and health, to support
and share my ESH with other
members from this day forward.....


Write ur own vows as would
like them to be....
