| "Handmade" business or hobby??
Let's see what you do! I've found making soap a hugely engaging, fun, creative outlet to take my mind off all the day's stresses. What do you make? Do you sell it? Just a hobby? Let's see some pictures so we can admire your work! ![]() [URL=" "]http:// |

That's some good looking soap there. (x2) I used to build PCs for hobby and a little profit, now I just keep messing with my own computer.

Here is another one of my hobbies. I love working with silver. Here are three items I've made, but I have more. The cuff bracelet and the daisy pendant are soldered, which I love doing. Fire to metal is very very cool! The swirly bracelet is just made by twisting, hammering, and linking the silver. I wish I could more of this, but the materials are so expensive. I don't sell it because I love to wear it! |

LOL oh no....another one from soberlicious...I love to make stuff, that's for sure! I scanned my son's drawings and put background papers and captions on them and made them into notecards. He has autism and drawing has always been a huge interest/outlet for him. I sold probably 60 sets of these and donated the money to his school. He did these drawings when he was 4, so long ago (he's a teenager now) but they are still dear to me. Now his drawings are of power tools, mowers, blowers, and the like...less able to make notecards from those LOL The pic is sideways I think...couldn't get it to rotate |

wow I can't believe all the beautiful soaps! They all look so scrumptious! I write poetry, and am working on a book, and I am learning to quilt. I have never sewn until a couple yrs ago I made a baby quilt, and now I am working on a lap quilt. I don't know how to post a picture. But they don't look as purty as those soaps.

hey soapers.... if you ever think about selling commercially, I have a spa that has some retail. Our logo is a mermaid. If you made some cool looking mermaid soaps, or some with something on them oceany or lslandy, would love to put some in there and see if they sold. I would pay you for them of course. Let me know. We have a lot of tourist who come through, and I think they would love to get something like that to take home or give as gifts.

Nope...I don't want to solicit any more business than I already have. People hound me for soap as it is LOL and I can't keep up. I love hearing about creativity as an outlet, especially in sobriety. I lost so many of my creative hobbies as an active drunk, just one of the many parts of me I gave to my addiction. I also firmly believe the endorphins generated by creating are a must for me. I flooded my brain artificially for so long that it is such a great feeling to get "high" in such a real authentic way through creating things. |

Sorry.... I guess I was so excited, and should have just privately messaged. Won't happen again, I promise! Sorry to everyone.
