| Where are my Dave Matthews Band fans?
Well they are my absolute favorite band. I've seen them about 15 times in concert and to this day I've yet to find another band that can put a show on quite like they do. What I find most impressive about them is not only their unique sound but the fact that they are actually better live than they are on any of their albums. Unlike some bands who rely so much on computer enhancing that when they go on tour they sound completely different and usually worse. I'm hoping that with all this extra money I'll have saved up from not drinking that I can get some PIT seats for when they come to Cincinnati in June. Any other DMB fans out there? What are your favorite songs? Ever gotten a chance to see em live or planning to see them this summer?

Well since I haven't found anyone else out there yet I'll start. If you haven't ever given them a listen try a couple of these songs out. See what you think. You may just end up loving them. Especially look for live versions. Typical Situation (especially the acoustic version) Don't Drink the Water Crush Warehouse (especially the LIVE at Central Park version) What Would You Say Too Much Tripping Billies Recently Dancing Nancies Big Eyed Fish Grey Street Crash Into Me (Yeah it's cliche for us big DMB fans but still a great song) Seek Up (especially LIVE at Red Rocks) All Along the Watchtower (Great version. Would make Dylan and Jimi proud) Ants Marching Two Step (Almost has to be LIVE. The album version can't touch it especially if you like a good jam session.) Satellite Where Are You Going #41 Cornbread Cortez the Killer (LIVE at Central Park) Like I said if you've only heard a couple of there bigger hits like Crush or Crash Into Me and for whatever reason it wasn't your cup of tea or just haven't ever listened to them give a few of these a shot.

Anyone else planning on seeing them this summer? I'm hoping to get tickets for each of these shows:
It's too bad the venue in Columbus closed. They normally always played two shows there but won't be doing any shows there this year. Last year they did play a concert at Columbus Crew Stadium, where the MLS team plays, which was a cool experience. My first stadium concert.

Some faves- Best of What's Around Warehouse Two Step The Dreaming Tree Stay or Leave Grey Street (though I like the old live bootleg versions better than the album version) Angel Dancing Nancies |
