Just want to shoot the you know what. Join Dreamers. I love talking about my dreams. I remember them alot too.

Oh...I would really like this thread if anyone else is interested. I've always had intense/strange/vivid dreams. I usually remember them and often they are nightmarish. My family will never listen to them because they are too "weird." I once dreamed I was a pizza and got baked. It was really horrible. Last night I dreamt that my co-worker and I were trying to find a place to hide drugs - first in the office and then in a the car. It was all night long, plotting and planning and trying to figure out where our "place" would be. I was glad to wake up this morning after all that "activity." |

I know the feeling Chiynita. I hate work dreams or the dream where you're doing something tediously simple over and over again. Ugh. Those are the worst. I'd rather have a nightmare and wake up unsettled than tired from working on the same damn file all night. |

I want a boring dream! Last night I dreamed that I had a disease where blood started dripping from my fingertips and everyone I touched caught it! *ew* It was scary. I'd rather file papers.

Hi, I haven't been around for awhile but I do a lot of dream work. An excellent book is the art of dreaming' by jill mellick. Sometimes the dreams that seem the worst can have really valuable info. in them. I believe that my dreams are my personal and deeper truth..perhaps something I'm not aware of yet. Since no one else can give me this information, I think it's a valuable way to bring things into the light. I"d be willing to be a part of a dream group if anyone is interested. leslie :ghug

| SHARING THE LOAD | first drinking dream
Last Thursday night I had a drinking dream. I didn't get drunk but I downed a very dark microbrew with a tea bag in it? The wierd thing is the bartender who served it to me was a woman who has helped me that has fourty one years of sobriety. I value pretty much every word she says while ignoring her imperfections. She didn't notice in the dream or acted like she didn't. I guess the emotion involved was one of remorse and tension not knowing if I should tell anyone. I felt upon awaking very relieved to find it was a dream. The tea bag holds the clue for me as I used to fool myself into drinking dark red wines, and vegtable/fruit drinks in the hopes that thier healthiness would make it alright. The only thing was, in retrospect, Five bottles of Merlot is not healthy regardless of how I can slice it. Ha Ha

Hi, It's normal to have drinking/using dreams from time to time. What I would look at in your dream is that drinking is escaping from the reality of something, perhaps hard to deal with. You might want to consider having a look at what you do with your your own innate personal power. Do you give it away? Because you mentioned it , and because your sponsor served you alcohol this might be an important aspect of this dream. Sometimes, when we meet people that are greatly admired or helpful it is easy to ignore their imperfections as you mentioned.. the problem here is that it's a bit of a set up and can cost you both in the long run. just some thoughts, Leslie
