| Exercise anyone? I'd like to have an exercise group here. Whether you like yoga, biking, hiking, running, swimming, elipticals, basketball.....whatever. Just to check in with each other, and to encourage each other to do something good for us, to help us to feel better physically, and to be accountable.....to make our own goals, and have support as we try to meet them..... While I'm recovering, I need to find some healthy habits, I'd like to drop some weight, and get my body moving. Sitting on the sofa drinking a liter or more of wine a night has caught up with me!! I always get the "thought" of "what's the point?", and easily take the path of least resistance, and stay home, sit around, which, in my case, is bad news. I'd love to have some cyber work-out buddies....No competition, just support... Is anyone interested? Thanks, Honu ![]() |

I'm like that too-- sitting home feeling sorry for myself always seems easier that getting out and doing something productive. Funny though, sitting on that couch is probably the most unproductive thing we can do! I used to be very active....running, hiking, tennis, dancing, aerobics and gym regularly, but lately its been harder to get back into it. I recently started going to the beach on weekends to walk. That's been great so far. But I need to do more. My goal for the week is to go the the gym at least once this week. When I do, I'm going to do circuit training. Keep me posted! | |

| i am interested in that. exercising is definitely my alternative to alcohol. the more fit i get the easier it is to distance my self from addiction as I dont want to ruin the physique i build. I have already started running 5k a day and lifting weights again to better steady my life. |
