Music is my saving grace!! It gets me through the hardest days. Have always enjoyed it, but it was usually just "background" sounds while I was partying my a$$ off. (been herb free for 25 days) I enjoy a wide variety of jammage. Just to name a few:

Widespread Panic
Michael Franti
Ray Lamontagne
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Ray Charles
Xavier Rudd
Trevor Hall
Little Feat
Canned Heat
Hot Tuna
Ben Harper
Jack Johnson
etc., etc., etc. :o)

If you're into music documentaries, you should check out up Playing for Change. Be sure to read read the story behind it. They have clips from it on youtube also. An awesome documentary and it emphasizes that music is the universal language. Also, check out Young at Heart. It's a group of senior citizens that sing songs like James Brown I Feel Good, The Clash Should I Stay or Should I Go, etc. Very entertaining and heartwarming. Ben Harper's Pleasure and Pain documentary is awesome too! You got me on a roll here!! lol

Many thanks for making a music category! I dig it!

Aaahh, Classic Rock.......my favorite.

Particularly all from the 60s/70s. Todays music is just not made that good anymore. All that sampling and rap and so forth. Sheesh!

What ever happened to just good old fashioned TALENT.

Classic Rock is amazing. It lasts even thru today. Few songs made today rarely ever get played again. Thats what I liked the one-hit-wonders back then too.

Also brings back feel-good memories.

I LOVE classic rock and blues! I was a hippy child of the sixties and hearing that music brings back some great memories. I went to a few concerts too, The Doors and The Band. That music still sounds good today. And, of course, there's no one that can best my all time favorite: The Beatles!
