Are you like me? Not happy unless you're elbow deep in compost, or rippin' out weeds, or deadheading? Are you eligible for the paddy wagon when your dahlias finally bloom or when you FINALLY find that plant you've been dreaming about? Welcome home! Great, Cuz I'm not much of an ornamental gardener. More the veggiehead. But I see that there are some spectactular flower pics posted here. So, who has started their gardening for the year? We've just lost our snow, but now it's cold and rainy. I have lots of veggie seedlings started in the house. Can't wait to get outside.. |

I have my first vegie garden! What a lot of work to get up the sod, till it, and now it is just about all planted. Tomatoes, sqaush, cukes, bell peppers, jalapenos, chilis, green beans, cilantro, basil, parsley, dill, lavender!, and then 16 pots of flowers. Just hope we don't get a freeze. I'm from the South, and couldn't wait. They always said here to wait until after Mother's Day, and that's today, so.....
