Visitor messages on profile - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

For some reason, the many messages people have left for me are not appearing. i have looked at a few other profiles and it seems to be fine and in working order on theirs. In fact the entire tab for 'Visitor Messages' is gone from my profile! i have reviewed all my settings and there is no option for me to restore it. i have done nothing to remove it and hope that this is something easily fixed. Could someone please restore this feature to my profile or let me know what the nature of the problem is? Thank you for your help with this and for the work everyone involved has done to get the boards back up & running smoothly.

It was off in your settings. I turned it back on.

Ok, Thank you. Was that something that i inadvertanly did or just something that happened in the migration?

I think you probably did it, but I'm not sure.

What setting would have removed that tab and turned it off? Would like to avoid doing that in the future! The only option i can think of is the setting "who can view vistor messages" in the Profile Privacy menu. Even so, it still should have come up because i had only changed that to a "Friends Only" setting. Happy New Year MG!!
