how do you use multi quote?

use the multiquote button

to tag each post except the last post you want to quote.

then use the quote button

for the last post you want to quote ....

and the resulting reply post should have all the multi quotes in it

I've been on this forum for almost 2 years and I've tried to do multi quotes the whole time but it never works for me. How do you "tag" each post? I don't understand....

"Edit Tags" is just underneath the "Thanks" button and just above-right of the reply window.

sorry - I couldn't think of any other word but tag, which then gets confusing cos there's a tag function for threads too, which is completely different.

to include the posts you want to multiquote - hit this button on each post

except the last one - use the blue Quote button for that one.

i would like to understand how to do this. i just can't figure it out.

do i highlight the text, then click the "" (multi-quote) button?

do i click the " " then .... what next? i'm sorry, just don't get it guys.

As far as I know multi quote works on the whole post so just hit the

on the posts you want to quote...making sure that you hit

on whichever is the last post you want to include.

Like I say it works on the whole post, so if you only want to use part of a quote, you'll have to go in and manually edit out the bits you don't want.

i copy and paste the quote before and quote after to make 3 seperate quotes...
