Well, Good Luck to you... If you won't even call the ER? There's nothing here anyone can say to make sure that you are safe, or that nothing is wrong. I hope you end up okay. Take Care

Student, I believe you can call a Poison Control Center anonymously. Seek real expertise right now - you need accurate information to take care of yourself and make the right decision. You may end up being just fine but the downside of an overdose can be huge. Trust me, everyone will "know" if you have a cerebral or cardiac accident. But you won't have many if any options at that point . . . You still have options now. So please consult an expert without delay and do what they suggest. Buzz |

A large overdose of Adderall can be fatal. Warning signs of a massive overdose include convulsions and coma. Symptoms of Adderall overdose may include: Abdominal cramps, assaultiveness, changes in blood pressure, confusion, diarrhea, hallucinations, heightened reflexes, high fever, irregular heartbeat, nausea, panic, rapid breathing, restlessness, tremor, vomiting If you suspect an overdose, seek emergency treatment immediately. You can call the pharmacy to ask questions. You can call poison control. You can call 911. You can call your doctor. You can inform your mother. If you're looking for any other answers, we don't have them. |

Your not an idiot, but you may be in danger, and no message board can tell you if you are or not. I'm just concerned for your own safety. I used to do meth, and I know how it felt when I took too much. There's a guy on here who says he had a stroke from crystal, which is similiar to adderall. And there are a few men on here who have passed away due to strokes from meth. That is what scares me.

I know its possible that I might have a stroke and could even die, but I feel that if I can just get through the installation I'll be okay. I've said this before but I just can't bring myself to let my family and friends know about the stupid thing I've done. |

I know my parents want to help me and love me, I love them, I just can't see them looking at this as a one time incident, that I've learned my lesson, and letting me get on with my life without constant supervision or something of that nature. Also, I don't want to dissapoint them and let them down. =\

This is the first time anything like this has happened to me. I was just really stressed out about the installation tonight and I took the adderall without even thinking. I will NEVER do that again and for now on I won't let myself get stressed out to the point of doing something stupid like that.

Surely you can borrow a cell phone and step outside? I understand but also disagree with your reasoning. As a parent, can you guess what would be worse? Pick one: 1. I never new about the stupid stuff my kid is doing; or: 2. I never had a chance to help my child before hospitalizing or burying him / her. If only I had made my child trust me enough so that they could admit they had made a mistake . . . A little melodramatic, perhaps, but if you want to get an idea of a parents agony over the loss of the child read what Snowwhite has posted here lately. Not to insult you, but there is one fact that has come to light lately and has been published in several magazines: People in their teens through mid twenties do not have the reasoning power of their older peers and often make really bad decisions. Don't make a bad decision!! Buzz |

I just went through this with my son last week. I didn't think he was an idiot and I'm really glad he told me about it. Your mom would want to know about it. It will just take a couple of simple phone calls to clear this up. If you wait too long they won't be able to do anything for you if it turns out to be serious. |

I know yall have greater reasoning power than I do and I know I'm making a huge mistake in not telling my parents, but at the moment I just can't get myself to do it. I have a cell phone and I went ahead and programmed both of those numbers into it as well as writing them on a piece of paper and sticking them in the pocket of the pants I will be wearing tonight. I have to start getting ready now and take a shower and get dressed so I'll be back in about 30 minutes or so and I promise I'll consider telling my parents while getting ready.

Student, Grab a cell and call the pharmacy and or poison control. In this day and age everyone has a cell-phone...borrow one. You need to do this for your own piece of mind. Dig deep and do the right thing. Best, Golf |

Student, Peak plasma concentrations for Adderall occur 3 hours after administration. If you have any structural cardiac abnormalities an overdose could be fatal. Suddenly. Forget tonight's task. Trust your parents and get them to help you. That is the most important thing right now! Buzz |

Okay, I just IMed my friend and he promised to keep an eye on me. I took about 150 mg give or take and my normal dose is 40 mg. I need to finish getting dressed and ready, but I'm seriously considering tell my parents about this before we go or in the car. I'm currently the head of my youth group, a new head is being installed tonight, and alot of them look up to me as an example and come to me when they are having trouble and to ask advice. I'm afraid that if I tell my parents I'll lose their trust and let them down. But, compared to this morning I'm feeling much better though I'm still a bit groggy and my forearms and legs are still a bit tingly. I can't thank yall enough for the support, advice, and understanding yall have given me and even if I don't take all the advice yall have given me I greatly appreciate it and will never forget what yall have done for me. Thanks for putting up with me and yall should be proud of what yall are doing here and hopefully I'll get back with yall later tonight after the installation is over. |

It has now been 6 1/2 hours. I hope that you are feeling better now. The tingling is something that happened to me every time I started taking it after a "vacation" from it or when the doctor uped my doseage. Let us know how you are doing soon. Is your heart still racing?
