Bi-Polar

I have been diagnosed as Bi-Polar for about a year and a half now. And I have a wonderful Doctor. She was very in-depth as she talked to me the first time I met her. I was having hallucinations,going places and not remembering anything about the trip. Sleeping all the time and just didn't give a crap about anyone or anything. And suffering from anxeity! Most of it stemming from not remembering things.

Anyways she started me out on lithium and xanax but I soon found I couldn't take it. Next she had me on abilify. I absolutely couldn't sit still. My wife said I was driving her crazy coming to the livingroom every two or three minutes. lol

Now my Doctor has me on effexor and it has really leveled me off. As well as the klonipkin instead of the xanax. I feel like I need less. Oh and she has me on seroquel 200 mg. in the morning and 600 mg. at bedtime.

I also take diovan once a day for my high blood pressure and ultram 3 times a day for bad arthritis.

You didn't bore me at all. I'm glad to hear you finally are finding drugs that work. I know for me, it took a while to find the correct anti-D's.

I am glad that you have a good doctor that listens, otherwise it could be bad for you. When doctors really want to be doctors and help and not just money makers then everyone benefits. Good for you!
