Just wondering about many of you tonight..Funny how we seem to get to know each other so well . I love the care and support I get here .
Well it is almost moms day . My mom died three years ago and I really miss that woman..She got very sick while I was in prison. the docotors agave her 6 weeks to live which meant that my mom would die while I was locked up!! All because of this disease I was never going to get to say good bye to the one person who loved me totally unconditionally..the miracle was this.. My mom did not die in six weeks...I was released from prison three months later and went straight out the gates and right to the bedside of my mom in the nursing home....she held me in her arms as tight as she could...she weighed only 90 pounds...I got to say good bye to my mom...she passed away that very night...I guess people really can wait if there is something left undone!! thank you for reading this..this disease robs us of so much..but we get clean and god works his magic......
I am sad tonight and missing her...I don't want to give this disease another day of my life or the people I love..

I have had a peaceful weekend, spending time with the family and doing my course work.
I have a banging headache i always do when it is stormy outside.
I hope everybody is well

Its ok Joe . I just miss my mom but really feel lucky I got to see her at all!! So glad I am clean and sober today..it is beautiful here this time of year..I am clean and sober for my kids on this mothers day and that is the BEST I have to give.
