Didn't do anything for me, but crystal meth is widely used in the gay men's community for sex.

Drug use is a behavior. Sex is a behavior. Drug use can lower inhibitions, resulting in more sexual behavior. Obsessive / compulsive tendencies can make either a big problem. Drug users tend to be compulsive people. It is reasonable that their compulsions can spread to other areas of their life, including sex . . . Sorry, don't have quantitative figures to back up my assertions . . . . Buzz (or were you seeking a humorous reply??) |

Teke- deep breath, hon. No one is making fun of you. I think they're just confused as to what, exactly, you're asking(?) There are many ways to read your question.

Q: Whether sex and drugs can go hand in hand • Yes Q: Whether sex and drugs necessarily go hand in hand • No Q: Are drugs required for good sex? • For an addict thinking about getting clean, maybe. • For an addict going through w/d; doesn’t matter. • For an addict that has completed w/d and is clean for a period of time, absolutely not. Q: Whether sex can be good without drugs • Much, much better! Of course there are many other scenarios, and facts that may affect these answers, and these answers are based on my personal experience. Your experience may not be the same, but I wouldn’t bet on it! |

Okay, Let Me Try Again, I Don't Feel Made Fun Of. Seems As If, When My Ah Who I'm Separated From Right Now, Go On These 4-5 Day Binges, Then The Sex Games Come Into Play. He Has Admitted To It Before And Now He Can't Tell Me Anything Different. I Am A Recovering Addict Myself And I Have Known A Lot Of Addicts Who Seem To Think That This Is A Norm. My Question Would Be What Could Be Going On In Their Mind Or In Their Bodies. Please Let Me Know If This Is Still Not Clear, I Am Tring To Find Some Kind Of Understanding

For some it's just the nature of the drug. The adrenaline kicks up the sex drive and they get obsessed with having sex. That's what I've seen anyway.

Cocaine seems to trigger kinky urges in a lot of people. Alcohol lowers inhibitions. A lot of drug use seems to take the place for normal human sexual activity. You might try the Mental Health Forum of this board. We have been warned to keep this particular forum PG, so not much sex talk is tolerated by the moderators.
