hey wuddup peeeps, im in the same boat here n am a hurtin unit to the core..ive beeen tweakin for far to long and its startin to show and am at the botttom of the abyss stuck in this damned paradox and i cannt escape it sooon well neeed i say mmore..anyway enough rambling about it but whats reallly chokin my chain is i cant even sit with goood friends of mine that go back to elementary skoool long before these days without bein sketched theee f*k out ffor example this problem with the voice..its not so much a stuttering issue but more of like bad tremmors whhich actuallly is quite a commmon prob with twweakers in this country that i can put up with its the bloooody shakes/twitches that are doin me in here..n i dont mean the average meth users odd shakey hand here n there but its close to unsteady hand but more so when im going to pass someone something or vice versa that or say at a red light id go to rest my elbow on the door/window as an armrest to rest head in hand thats when it willl trigger a noticable twitch that and being around people,doesnt matter if ive known em since we were 3 apples talll or if i just met them i cant keep eye contact for more then a couple seconds before i have to focus on say the tv that we're rippin games on or watcin sk8 vids etc..otherwise my neck literallly twitches out that or jus feels kinda stifff n yeah i dont even know how to describe it but i guess what i am getting at is can anyone relate to this to any extent or anyone know what this shiet actuallly might be n what can be done to help this ..i mean its obviously its from all theee meth use but i mean i just need a peice of mind here cuz i mean im sure we alll have heard of meth mouth right welll i cant say mines that bad but its safe to say its in a sttate of 911 llots of work needed to be done, and the only reason im holdin back on seeein my dentist is because of this twitchy/shakey horseshit if i were to go in tommorow or in the next few days i can just seeee the disasterous outcome of it...anyway i apologize for the rambling n makin u read this novel but im a HURTIN UNIT here n i guesss i will leave it at that n hopefully this wont turn out to be a a big waste of time n something will actually come of this sketchy post of mine..once again i apologize n hope hear back from yallll...

Nah, I don't mind at all.

I actually just had my 6 month anniversary last week. (the 15th).
Crystal meth was my doc also.

It's HARD but you CAN get off it. I was so scared I wasn't going
to be able to, but I did.

How long have you been doing it? Have you tried to quit before?

Great choice! Get that nasty gorilla off your back.

I kept reminding myself that the 'old' me was waiting around the corner..all I had to do was get clean and we would meet again. It was so worth it. You can do this, you'll be amazed at the strength you have.

Make sure and drink plenty of fluids and eat what you can.

Done-With-It congrats on that..im envious =P...but yeah the first time i did meth was not long after i turned 15,(im 21 in august) n get this me n the buddy i was with who waas 14 asked the dood who asked us if we wanted to do some since every1 was waitin on someone wth sum caps to come through that night and we had asked the guy straight up whats meth was n how is it in comparison to blow healthwise n he told us that blow was prolly a bit worse then jib n then quickly added that it was 10x cheaper then blow, so since the whole rooom was chillaxin waitin on those caps n blazin it i figured why not, ill try almost anything atleast once and so my buddy did the same, and i tell ya if i ever run into that schmmuck in the future,welll lets just say shits gonna hit the fan hard..but even after that me n the same buddy would split a point every weeekend and just tear up mad session on local skateparks, but it wasnt til i was about 17 that we upped the ante n needed a bit more then a p between us n after a while we jus saaid f*k the only on weeekends deal we can control this if need be n started nabbin it whenever we felt it was that time again but wasnt at the "tweaker stage", n yes i did calll it quits for about 8-9 months and was stilll around the **** n the tweakers on a daily basis, for reasons i'd rather not get into but i was able to fight the temptation whenever they'd hand me the pipe, which was alot but eventually i caved in and figured what the hell why not n that was sometime in 2003 n it wasnt til then that it was safe to put me the "tweaker stage" category..shiet 2nd novel in 24 hours heh i apologize once again for it n appreciate ur takin the time to rread it n get back to me to on that note..n i guesss illl leave it at that for now ..

My kid is a meth addict - started at 12 or 13 and tried her first rehab at 17. She is 19 today and clean for a little over a year. I remember taking her to a rehab while she was tweaking and jerking around... it took not using for a little while for that part to go away.

The scrambled mind took a bit longer, but after a 30-day rehab, I started to see the "real" kid. It had been a while... it was liking watching a butterfly emerge from its cocoon.
