hospitalized - had morphine and now valium

Hi everyone,

Well, last week I was hospitalized for six days with a stomach problem. I had to have morphine, and I guess my higher power kicked in because I didn't feel like using then, nor do I now. Tomorrow I have to have an MRI, and I KNOW I can't get through it without a 10 mg valium. I tried once and failed because I have panic disorder. That little tube is very confining.

I have some serious and totally unexpected medical problems, but I guess I'll get through them. I have several tests to take. Well, I guess I've bored you enough. I am feeling quite depressed so I thought I'd write.

I am sorry to hear about your stomach troubles and hospital time...
glad that it did not trigger you.
I had an MRI this past summer and can easily understand how it could make a person feel panicky... I started to get anxious in there and had to really work on focusing my energy elsewhere. Plus you have to be still...
