I was wondering if someone here could help me identify a drug. It would mean alot to me just to know and maybe get a little peace. It comes in a very tiny ziplock bag (like 1/2").
It's white, powder like and is not cocain. one of these little packs cost $10.00. It causes very sleepy, droopy eyes, one more than the other. No 'sniffing' after. Any help would be so great.

Sounds like heroin to me. I don't about that price, though, but the effects sound like it.

Sounds like heroin to me too. The price would be a little low though. Where I am from (CA) it is not usually sold by $10 bags. You never know though.

Thanks everyone! I so appreciate your help and I have another question. I thought H was brown or black. Is it white too? And I haven't seen anything that would be used for shooting it, but I have found straws & cut up pens, is he sniffing herion?

Yes it can be white and can be sniffed or smoked these days. It is how many people get started, but most end up on the needle eventually.

May, my abf doc is heroin and that is what it sounds like, yes it can be white, usually inside some tiype of wax paper packaging in a little bag, the paper is sometimes stamped with things like D.O.A or toe tag, it's sick I know. It could be sniffed, smoked or injected and the sleepiness your witnessing is when they nod out, his pupils will be pinned too if he's high, none the less it is a horrible drug to be addicted to, he probably won't admit it if you ask him but you can try. Oh, and it costs anywhere from $8.00 - $20.00 a bag. Take care of yourself! Hugs!

Hope things are OK..I agree with the others - you need to confromt HIM about it. I used to hate when my mom did that - but I always knew it was becuase she loved me.

My poor mom, she now has an eagle eye (thanks to 3 addict kids) she can spot a needle cap or an empty baggie from miles away..

Its sad that parents now have to know about dope, pills, spoons, etc, but it's always better to know...

Thanks for all your replies. The first few times I aksed him he said I was crazy, he wasn't on anything, any he was sick of hearing my s*** and left mad. When I found the first baggie, he said "that guy from work must have left it here" & he "thought" it was probally coke.
The next 50 or 60 times, he just flat out denied knowing anything about them, never saw them before in his life. After more investigating, he was forced to admit something, & said he was taking oxycontin and smoked crack a few times. Nothing made any since. It's been very confusing, but it's getting better. Not knowing has been one of the worst parts for me.

You're welcome, may!! Do you have a support group like Nar-Anon to go to? I would imagine there are a good many meetings to choose from there. Why not check it out?
