Where do you go to meet other recovering addicts ?

Church? the grocery store? Where do they hang out?

I met 20 last night in one spot. Looked at www.na.org for a saturday meeting in another town. Rode my bike to a dealership openhouse/block party and then over a few towns to a meeting.

I was welcomed, and a phone list was passed around. Nobody asked me what my drug of choice was, or how much time I did in the joint, or whether I was married. I said Hi I'm an addict and they accepted me just like that.

good for you gooch! i meet other recovering addicts at work, school, and yes, sometimes at the grocery store.
