| Sleepy - How to deal?
Hi all, I've posted here many times about sleep issues - but now I know that being clean for a few months will fix those - and that's Ok with me. The tiny problem now is that I am tired, and I am trying to do things with my life. The thing is, when I'm tired, my mind doesn't function or think properly, and I am living at a level that overall has a lot lower quality than my regularly energetic lifestyle. I just "overthought" myself in my own head, so I decided I needed to just chill today. Know what I mean? What should I be doing on the days when I feel weak and crappy? I try to attend to less detailed, less thinking tasks, but I was curious as to how others cope when they are feeling less than awake. It doesn't affect others, but I am not really the same person when I'm tired. |

You've already answered your own question. Attend to less detailed or less thinking tasks. or just give yourself a break. It is OK to give yourself a vacation or mental health day. Just Veg out and relax. As long as you don't let that consume you and you take healthy breaks, it is fine. I don't even post when I am very tired, I can't focus on reading the threads so I don't kill myself for not coming on. Take a break, relax, read a stupid comic book, take a hot bubble bath, watch a Movie, whatever. I am sure you deserve it.
