Question for pill poppers

I have a question for anyone who knows anything about methadone. I am using it this time to get myself off of oxycontin. I have taken it before in the past but this time I went to my doctors and he wrote me a script for it so it is completely legal now. Anyway I have been doing nothing but sleeping since I started the meds. It feels almost like I have mono. I wake up, smoke a ciggarette and almost instantly i am falling back asleep. I think it may be because the dose is too high but I don't get a buzz from it or anything and I know a lot of people take this to get high so I dont know if it is because of the dose. I used to take way higher of a dose before when I used it. I dont know but does anyone have any advice fore me? It also makes me extremely dehydrated. I can drink like a fish....not alcohol just liquids!! -star-
