Finally done with all the housework and got a bath! Now I smell good again! And that's good because hubby is almost home! I love it when the house is clean, supper is cooked and I get a bath and put lotion on and feel all fresh! I'm laying under the ceiling fan and it feels soooo good! Now I think I'm going to watch a movie!

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well! Oh my, I have a lot of catching up to do! But I wanted to stop in real quick so you all wouldn't think I was off getting crunk on ya. My internet was down last night...and did that ever stink. Not having my safe haven here to get out all my feelings was awful - I almost thought about logging in at work today, but they monitor and review internet activity so figured might not be the best idea lol.
So, in place of, I tried to keep bust last night and went with the shaving of the cats, part 2. And I have the scars to prove it - but cannot post a picture as it would definitely be deemed inappropriate! I shave them on the dining room table, so they have no traction to get away (kind of like the cartoons where they just run in place lol). The biggest problem is you have to stop so often because the clippers get so hot so fast! If I could just zip through it it would be easier then constantly having to stop and try to keep them there until I can start up again. My Angel lived up to her name and was great, sat like a little angel for me and was pretty good about it. Her sister Jasmine, however, is a bit more voracious and was not happy about the whole thing. At one point she managed to turn back on me, got herself over my head and managed to "shish ka-boob" me in the process with her back feet. Can you say ouch????
Well, the timing was good actually because it was 1,000 degrees here today. Tomorrow is going to be 100,000 degrees so since I have internet back I'm going to work from home. Sigh, I hate the heat so much. So let me go try to catch up, and Butter I owe you a PM

Howdy eyes! Glad to see you didn't go "crunk" on us! (Whatever that means?) I must say relapse always pops into my mind when someone disappears. I guess I'm a little jaded!
Glad to know it was only Internet problems! Glad you are back up and running!
Well, the kiddos are hungry and I am not as far along as mama so a better hop to it!

Clean, I was getting all gansta on ya lol - crunk is essentially getting really messed up (think it originates from crazy drunk). I'm jaded too I guess, I hate it but when someone disappears I usually think the same as well which is why I just wanted to pop on really quick. Reading old threads I've seen it a lot, where folks just seem to be doing well and then *poof*, they up and disappear. I would like to think they were successful, but I tend to think more often they relapse and don't want to come back out of shame or because they got swallowed up by their addiction again. It's sad - there was someone who had quit right about the same time as me, he didn't post much but would send me a PM each day. Haven't heard from him for well over a week now
OK, back to trying to catch up - at least I'm down to this thread (though have to start over on the one that is closed now lol)
PS - 15 full days down, working on 16 today!

For your information, husband went to his counseling session after work yesterday, so in preparation for his return I did the same as Mama. Took a long soak in the tub, relaxed, got out my favorite lotion. And when he got home it was what this old thing, oh the smell I was just playing with the dog? No biggie, isnt this my natural state of wonderfulness? If he was in a bad mood after his long day with no sleep I couldnt tell.
I would have just made a pie if I had been ambitious, or had one in the freezer. This works too.
