| New to this  Hi! I am new to this board and want to let myself be known by writing this. I am an alcoholic and prescription pill addict. My first recovery was 15 years ago but stopped going to meetings - the inevitable happened. Now I am back as of a month ago and stretching my wings a little. I would like to make sober friends online as well as f2f. I already introduced myself on the newcomers topic and already received a warm welcome. HP |

welcome to SR! so glad you are back in the programme  my name is lee , alcoholic , just on 6 months sober , and I live in Australia . You will find much support here , and we have online AA , and NA meetings too. Our site has been down for a couple of days, and has just been re done , there is a temporary chat room just opened , ( see sticky post at the top of the forum) I am sure the meeting times can be found in the Chat Forum hope to get to know you better keep coming back HUGX Lee |
