Thanks so much you guys. Sometimes life gets really tough. People come and go out of the program and i miss them, bad. I spaz out in my own head and think, F-it! It's my turn to "go out"..........but i don't, instead I trudge along trying to have faith that I'm doing the right thing staying clean. My mind ,like every addict (i assume) see's only the "fun" in using. It's always focused on the "good" aspects, never the sh!tty times. I suppose if we could just use once or twice we, wouldn't have a drug problem Last edited by emmer; 07-09-2009 at 11:08 PM. |

You are doing well Dude... just keep doing the next right thing and it starts by staying clean just for today..... Yes using was fun and that fun was short lived in most cases... and the misery always hits you when you lay youe head on the pillow alone and sad...that i don't miss.... I value the fact that i wake up with a smile and go for a work out as oppsed to wake up and plot how to get your next fix/hit..... I suppose if life was meant to be easy then it would be borring and not worth living...it's the **** that goes on in life that builds our characters and keeps and makes us grow... Keep going strong Dude...

((((emmer)))) I know it's hard to see people from the program who go missing. It's even harder when you know what's up isn't good. Please don't use this as a reason for you to mess with your hard-won sobriety. Listen to those who "scouted" the territory and came back! It doesn't get better or give us a "break." I'm sure you know it only gets worse and harder, if you survive to make it back. So many people don't make it back. Be one who "sticks." Love, Lenina |
