| I'm Addicted to Enabling I need to vent....my crack addict has been out of the house for the last 4 days...but I miss him like crazy...I can't stand the **** that he does, it drives me crazy, but I miss his sober side so much. He is the male version of myself minus the drugs.....I know that if I keep allowing him to slip up it is never going to change, but it is so hard. So who is the real addict me or him? Am I just a glutton for punishment or what...I guess I always get sentimental around the holidays, even if it is only the 4th of July |

| I think people love people but you cannot always love what they do. And trieing to control a person never works. Sorry that you are feeling the loss but it is up to him to stop. The best thing to do is tell him you love him and not the drugs or alcohol. |
