I get overwhelmed and it's like this force must be with me to pull myself out of it..... T minus 2 days to get so much accomplished. I've been a last minute Nelly my whole life..... Hey, Anvil, I'll fly you over to the East Coast to clean my house...no, really, lol Jane, what can I say, we're nasty with em or without em So, for my one year anniversary, it's pouring, I have a foster litter of kittens who hate me, on the way to Rachel's sailing lesson, I was trying to find a song on my ipod and hit a curb and blew out my tire!!! But you know what? I don't have to use. YAY |

darn, cc - sounds like MY kind of driving. The first time I ran into the back of a truck (what IS it with me and trucks?!?), I was trying to find a song on my mp3...luckily, only my car got scraped. Okay, I'm on my way out to pay my car payment and go by H&R Block to see if THEY will write a letter to the GA dept of revenue, or if I need to. darn...guess I'm talking to myself again  Paid the car payment, talked to the guy who sold me my car and told him about the CD player not working. I am going to a radio shop, tomorrow morning, and having a new stereo put in WITH an auxillary jack for my MP3 player and THEY are paying for it!!! I went to 2 different H&R's and both were closed and referred me to another store that was closed...will just send the letter myself. Realized I was close to mom's cemetary, so went out there...1st time in YEARS. There have been a lot of robberies of the bronze vases off of markers (being melted down for $$ for dope) so wanted to make sure her marker was okay and it is..just needs new flowers. There is a pond there, and about 100 Canadian geese were out there (I think that's what they were). I will go back next month (mom's b'day is 7/7) and take new flowers and a loaf of bread for the geese. Dad is taking us out to eat....I'm in the last pair of jeans I own that aren't too tight..will have to start the diet...tomorrow Hugs and prayers! Amy

the week-end's coming - it always seems to be quiet on the week-end. apparently I'm the only one without a week-end life?? I'm off to work soon and then at some point this week-end gotta go and see the Wal-ee movie. and no, I don't know how it's spelled...... my son informs me we're going, and if it's as good as Kung-Fu Panda was...then it will be worth it. and my headache's gone this morning.........sweeeeeet. hope everyone has a great day!!!!!

Krista- I want to see Wall-E. It looks so cute. Check out the movie trailer at Pixar Theater - WALL-E I had a horrible migraine yesterday too, I ended up having to call the doctor and he called me in 2 imitrex injections to the pharmacy. I have a headache hang-over today but that's nothing. What's bothering me is the new cartridge wouldn't work with my injector so I had to use an insulin needle..... Can you say "TRIGGER"! It wasn't to bad last night because I was tired from hurting but this morning I'm having a tough time keeping it off my mind I had 4 rigs left, put 3 of them out with the garbage, truck has already taken them BYE BYE. I have one injection left and may need it, so I kept one rig, no no Needle saved for it. But that damn thing is screaming at me "Hey that's not what I'm for" I'm screaming "INTERVENTION!!" It's been over a month so as long as I don't act on it I'll be ok in a day or so! Just my luck, but if you ever had a migraine you know it's not a pain you just deal with. I"M GOING TO BE JUST FINE!!! |

Guys I shouldn't have even told ya'll that concidering I'm going to be mowing the yard all morning and then gone most of the afternoon. Then it's the week-end and MY KIDS WILL BE BACK! YEAH! So I won't be on much if at all this week-end. Guess what I mean is don't worry about me I'm not going to relapse this week-end for sure, I still remember very well how hard it was to get past that first 2 weeks! It would take more than a trigger to make me use right now. And I didn't share this with hubby because I didn't want to nudge him.

Krista - I don't have much of a life either...work, sleep, SR...but that's okay. A lot better than running the streets, chasing crack! My car is getting a new Alpine stereo as we speak The owner of the shop says the finance company I got my car from is really good to work with...most places make the customer pay at least half for a new stereo. It will have a cd player AND a jack from my MP3!When I got in the car, to go up there, my car is parked downhill. Put it in reverse, it started rolling forward and every light came on on the dash. I yelled WTF? and put it back in park and turned it off. Turned it back on and it's fine. I was in a grumpy mood, so figured HP was trying to get my attention? Spent an hour on the phone with AT&T trying to get dad's new internet hooked up. He drives me crazy with changing internet/cable/sattelite/phone stuff every few months. I told him that they changed the billing and he would be saving money...he says he's not supposed to pay that much. Told him I did what he asked....he could deal with the bill! Then I typed up a nice letter to the GA dept. of revenue and the printer doesn't work.....again. I am ready to go buy a cheap printer and hook it to my laptop! I am being technologically challenged at every direction today. Feeling a little queasy today, and have about convinced myself that I'm calling in sick tonight. I'm not really sick enough to not go in, but I seriously need another night away from work. I've been awake since 2 a.m., don't see me getting any sleep today, and I just don't want to work.....whine! I figure since I can't ever take a vacation (we would get paid minimum wage for 35 hours/week) I deserve a mental health day. I'm taking back that stupid fm transmitter thing I bought for the mp3 and that will be $62 back so I won't be missing much money. cc - I have managed to avoid trucks, so far, but darned if the cops aren't EVERYWHERE....all day yesterday and today. I really hate going the speed limit Hugs and prayers! Amy

Whew, I'm having such a time trying to keep up with everyone here...must be that darn Dyslexia/ADD/whatever the heck it is!!  ((Amy)) Aww go ahead and take off the night and get your rest or whatever you need to do!! You have my permission!! I think that is sweet that you are taking the geese some bread too! I love ducks and geese!! Such beautiful and intelligent creatures!!! Enjoy your new stereo!!!!!! ;-) ((CC)) Sounds like you needed a ((HUG)) after all you went through yesterday!! So here's a (((((((HUG)))))))!! LOL!! Hope today is better!! I have been keeping a headache too but probably because of the period that I was supposed to be having, but decided not to show up this month. (GrrR!) Stomach has been acting up too......Gawd, I hate my life sometimes! One good thing tho...the damn roofers are DONE next door so I can at least go out on my deck and not feel like all those sweaty guys are starring at me!! (LOL!!) TGIF!!! Have a great wknd ya'll!! Jane, on my thread, you know the awkward thing, lol. I think we're very much a like. I have a hard time showing emotion to anyone except my husband and kids so when I say something really, really nice, it comes from the heart. Amy knows! P.S. After blowing out the car tire I had one of those stupid donuts on, and damned if I didn't hit the same curb! Thankfully this one didn't blow out. I think I need my license revoked or something, LOL |

OMG, cc, you crack me up!!! When I used to take a couple of the kids home from work, every night, I would drop Mario off first, then take AJ. Every single night, coming back from Mario's house, there was this damn tree/bush thing on the side of the road...and every single night, I would almost hit it...swerve at the last minute. AJ would be saying "uh, Amy, it's still there". I was so glad when the trash man finally took the stupid thing! I have a brand new, kickin' Alpine stereo in my car I have to take it back next week because they didn't have a kit with the airbag button, so my airbag light stays on. I can now listen to my mp3...oh, yeah, gotta be careful to look out for the trucks while I'm trying to find my songs...and curbs, huh?I did call in sick....I figured I would save $25 in gas, get the $62 back from the stupid fm transmitter thing I'm taking back that did NOT work for my mp3, so I'm not really missing anything. I really like waiting tables...it's the 2-3 hours of CLEANING we have to do every night that I hate. I finally bought some maximum strength Estroven today and some B12. If it can keep Anvil from ripping the heads off of bunny rabbits, maybe it can keep me from being a total witch 2 weeks every month. It's not bunny rabbits who's heads I want to rip off Hugs and prayers! Amy

I'm going to throw ALL the computers in our not-used-in-10-years-pool in the back yard! Now MY laptop doesn't recognize that it has a wireless adapter....tried everything and finally got on dad's dinosaur computer and apparently this is a HUGE problem, but HP doesn't really give a damn. Looks like the options are a new motherboard (at least $600), a new computer, or ask dad if there is a way I can connect to a dang cable in my room, but don't think so since the whole house is on a "network". Guess I'll be going to best buy tomorrow and see what they have in the way of a wireless card or something. I obviously don't happen to have several hundred dollars sitting around! I know this sounds minor, but I really do use the internet all the time...Ya'll know, I'm always on SR. Anyway, probably won't be around much for a while. Hugs and prayers! Amy

AWWWW AMY who is going to keep me sane??? you hurry back cause I won't last long without hearing from you.. :-) We have that network issue in our house too.. four computers on.. and the wii system. When the wii is on.. no one but my husbands laptop can connect.. and when I am using my jawbone bluetooth headset.. my apple won't connect.. stupid computers.. I swear I was born about 100 years too late.. I think I was destined for the horse and buggy era.. haha. Today was day from HELLLLLLLL-OOO big time.. was seriously thinking about having me a tequilla sunrise.. and not just one.. like tequilla until the sunrises.. but alas.. I refrained and opted for a score bar and bottle of pepsi with a flexeril to send me to lala land and hopefully take the knots out of every muscle in my body.. damn I hate fibro.. sorry.. on a whine note. Jane .. how the heck is mikko man? I think I have decided.. when my beloved newfie passes on I am going to get an eclectus. I just can't decide between the gorgeous red and purple females or the handsome green and orange male.. will have to do more research as the time comes i guess. Anywho... take care girls. Kari

I hear ya Amy....computer seems to be my link to the outside world besides going to work. which is good I guess, 'cause me and the outside world get in trouble together... hope it works out! 'cause ummmm.....you need to be around here for the needy selfish ones that need you!! like CC - lolol. (oh fine, and me.... )
