OK, are we all on that time of the month these days? Gas prices making us cranky? I've been around here for a while now (longer than my join date says) and I've never seen so much bickering except between my 6 and 10 year olds. C'mon, let's make nice. We're all in the same boat. Can't we all just get along?

Thanks cc. I agree, there's been a lot of bickering.

To me, SR is supposed to be about sharing our ES&H...experience, strength, and hope. There are several ways to work recovery. What works for one, doesn't necessarily work for someone else.

Most of us have tried, and failed, and tried again before we figure out what works for us.

What worries me, is on some of these threads, if I were a newcomer and read them, I don't know if I'd come back.

I can see someone in denial, or trying something that probably won't work. The best I can do is tell them of my experience because I was hard-headed, in denial, and wanted the easiest way out.

I do hope we can get back to what SR is all about (to me, anyway)...people helping each other to find recovery...in whatever way works for them.

I know that I tried to post and befriend some others in a new forum here at SR awhile back and was completely ignored...people fell all over themselves to reply to the new poster under me though! That kinda' hurt but I guess it is the way things go sometimes.

I also find that whenever I find a new poster that I feel I can offer ESH, the thread suddenly becomes a "war zone" very quickly. That makes me angry and feeling awful at the same time.
I have been hesitant to offer ESH for quite sometime now and only just started again. I am hesitant once again.

Jane, what is ESH? I'll tell you what, you have been tremendously helpful to me. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. If I offended you in any way in my thread, I appologize. I felt I was being attacked by a certain someone and it led to me being Mr negative in the midst of my worst WD's. I appologize to all for that.

Scott...Thank you so much for saying that! Sometimes I wonder if I really help anyone at all...It seems so many others have just the right words but mine always sound complicated.
