Most hated day of the week? - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Mine is Tuesday, which is today. I actually like Monday a little bit because I get back into the real world, and that reality check is a real reason to stay sober for at least Mondays. But Tuesday is when I feel too immersed in the real world, like I'm drowning with no lifesaver. Then I use that negative thought to grind through my Wednesdays, and I'm completely exhausted by the end of Thursday. I spend my Fridays daydreaming of a serene weekend.

Then I repeat the cycle until I have an unsightly verbal or physical outburst, randomly. But just being on SR since late December has given me an outlet to chill down. So, no panic attacks yet! (knock on wood) It's good to have a place to vent. I no longer "let it all ball up inside".

Saturday......no contest..... its too hectic around my house with everyone here, lol

Tuesday. I have to plan my girl scout meeting, put together all the materials, then actually go to it and deal with the little dears for two hours.

Then it gets over at 5 and I run home, feed my girls and drop my oldest off at HER girl scout meeting.

Then I pick her up at 7.

Bright side though. American Idol is on at 8, LOL

I would say mine is Sunday, it seems to be a day that just drags to me, especially in the winter. I think it is because I eat dinner early that day, and stores are closed.

OK, Woops, you made me feel like a craphead. You're right. I should enjoy every day, LOL.
