| Any experience with Soma and urine drug test
Hey everyone, I have been doing pretty good. I have however been taking soma as needed NOT daily but because of sever back problems, etc. Well, Good new is I GOT A JOB!!! Yeah, but they gave me a drug test. Well it was the very first test that I was so confident in and not sweatin about takin it at all! However when the results came in the dr called and said that I was positive for diazepam and or valium? I thought WTF?!! I haven' taken that in almost a yr. So basically he says he needs a valid script to allow me to pass the test. I started to scrumage through my medicine chest and found an old bottle of diazepam and gave him the info and I ended up passing the test since the script was mine and valid at the pharm blah blah blah, you get it right? Anyways, my mind has just been baffled as to how taking somas as needed can make me test positive for diazepam/valium. Has anyone else heard of this or had this happen to them? Thankfully I had that old script around or else I would have failed and been royally screwed!!!!! The up side is that I got the job and I am soooo happy!! Let me know what you guys opinion on this type of thing is. Has anyone heard of his before? It has really been bothering me bad!

Before any tests they ask or should ask...what have you taken or are taking now for meds. There are foods that can also test out positive as drugs. You passed. As long as you are honest with yourself about it ... let it go and just be the best employee that the company has ever seen. Drug free (other then required RXs) and giving them your best for the agreed salary... Congratulations on the new job.

Thanks Best, when i went to the testing facility I went with a list of all my meds and they said it was and has been illegal for them to ask up front what you are taking and the only way to straighten something like this out is to send out the test and have the scientist/doctor call me to confirm. I am glad i passed just baffled about this whole soma/valium thing. Yes I had a valid bottle of diazepam that allowed me to pass but I havent taken it in over 8 months or more, I just can figure that one out
