| Happy birthday greeneyes3902 where ever u r today is greeneyes3902's birthday. had she lived she would be 33 today. we had a family get-together at her grave. our daughter sent up some pink balloons one by one so that they may reach her in heaven. we watched the balloons till we could no longer see them. this is the first birthday since her death that we have had for her. we miss her and love her. |

Happy birthday....... I'm sure she was looking down smiling at her family, you have a guardian angel looking after you although taken too young. I hope you and your family are doing well.

Hey, mywife; I don't know what the weather was like out in the western part of the state today. It was warm and breezy here today. If it was half as nice there, it was greeneyes smiling down at all of you.

it was 60 out. we were able to be at the cemetary for a while because it was nice out. our daughter was playing planting plastic flowers and helping to uncover a couple of flat grave stones. she has accepted that mommy is gone and she seems ok now. she has taken it better than i thought she would. but she still misses her. we all do. | |

Mywife; I think children are far more capable of handling things life throws at us than we are. As for you, you are allowed your grief for as long as you need to, and you have a reminder of your wife every day when you look at your little girl. I know it's not enough, but I know you cherish it every day, and your daughter is lucky to have one wonderful parent in her life.

For those of you who didn't know Greeneyes, she was a beautiful, loving wife and mother who lost her battle last year. Unfortunately a lot of her threads/posts got lost in the crash we had recently. If you can though, please take a moment from your busy day to think of her, her daughter and her husband. He is doing a remarkable job with their little girl, but I know his heart breaks every day. My wife, my heart goes out to you, and you know you can pm me anytime. I will ALWAYS respond. You and your family have touched me and many days when I put my head on my pillow clean, I think of Greeneyes. Always, Dorothy |

thank you cc. you are making me cry with your kind words. but on a different note, her sister is jealous of greeneyes. she is jealous of her to this very day and she set me off the other day when she bad mouthed her own sister and said she hated her. she said that she could not ever be in my house because of all the pictures of her that i had hanging up. i like the pictures and i don't want to forget her and i want our daughter to remember mommy. too bad her sister thinks she is still competing with greeneyes. for the record her sister is an alcoholic and straight vodka is her thing. she gets nasty when she is drunk and we had to have her removed from our house by the cops because she was being so obnoxious. she never went to greeneyes funeral because she was too drunk to go. maybe one day she may "get it". but she makes no attempt to dry up. too bad for her. she is a pretty cool person when she is sober and not putting down greeneyes in death.right now i am not talking to her till she grows up some more. she is 44 going on 3.

Alcoholism and drug addiction do ugly things to beautiful people. Prayers for greeneyes's sister. Peace & Love, Sugah

And if it is? Everyone grieves differently. Is that healthy? Probably not. But only you know what you have to do to get to the next stage of grief. Don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong. Heck, I cried for six months over a beloved dog! This was your wife and mother of your child. As far as her sister, well, she's certainly got her own issues, doesn't she? Her addiction is diminishing the person she could be and what a waste. Mywife; I'm glad you're coming here. I missed you and I hope talking about your feelings brings you some measure of peace. To be selfish for sure, I get a lot out of talking with you and it also helps with my recovery. You see, I have a wonderful husband and two little girls and I see through your eyes what would happen if I were gone. I am grateful for that and I hope you know that you are helping greatly. I hope I am too. P.S. I have dear friends from your town. It's lovely out there. |

Hands old and poor, her back bent and sore, She lifts from the drawer, the photograph Though tattered and torn, through years it has worn, But still bears the form of the man she knew Her eyes are weak, spilling tears on her cheek Her lips start to speak to the photograph She tells him with pride, she still loves him inside Though years ago died, la da da da La, la da, la da, la da da, la da, la da da, La la la da da, La, la da, la da, la da da, la da, la da da, La la la da da And all of the people she knew, who she knows no more Who Don't know the score say, "We wonder why, she never married, such a Pretty girl she was, such a lovely face she had, Such a pretty thing she was", once She turns to her right, to put out the light, And wishes goodnight to the photograph Her love, though it's strong and lasted this long, And goes on and on, she's still in love these are lyrics from a song. i am going through this right now. i am ok being alone for now. but i don't know if it will be like the woman from the song, like forever. time will tell. |

That is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. We all grieve at different paces. Don't let her sister get to you. Your daughter should know her mother, and I'm glad you keep the pictures up.

You can always upload the picture at ImageShack® - Hosting. You don't need to set up an account there to upload it, and it will give you a link to cut and past here if you want. How are you doing today mywifeisatpeace?
