Welcome to SR Kim, and congratulations on 2 months sober. Have you started working any recovery program for yourself, and how did you get your 2 months sober? Can you explain what has confused you at all? |

Alcoholics and/or Narcotics Anonymous are excellent, logical starting points for someone in your position. Find out when/where some meetings are in your area online. Then start going to them. Post here if you have any questions. Congrats on your two months clean. BTW, have you avoided ALL mind-altering drugs, or just your 'drug of choice'?

Kim, I'm also from the Hartford Area, there are tons of AA meetings in the area and in South Windsor, Vernon, and Suffield there are NA meetings which I attend. I find them helpful and go to atleast 4 meetings a week. When I first started working on my recovery I found meetings that I could go to during the times that I would normally "pick up". If you are interested in going let me know and I'll get you some more info. FC |

By the way, what was your drug(s) of choice?
