Online speaker tapes - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Do you or have you ever listen to online NA speaker tapes. If you do, do you find them motivating.
I love listening to online NA tapes. Qualified speakers talk about the there story, steps and traditions.
I highly recommend listening to them. I can identify with so many speakers, I always get something good out of listening to them.

All though my back ground is drugs and alcohol today NA is my foundation. I also listen to AA speaker tapes. One guy in unparticular, Pete from Staten Island. This guy tells my story. From living in the streets, wanting to die, and at the end finding that moment of clarity that saved his life. I always cry when I listen to him.

So let us know if you ever listen to online speaker tapes.

I love listening to those talks. I had dozens of tapes from AA and NA but they were lost during the upheaval of my separation from spouse

Although I never really worked the steps or participated in AA or Alonon, when I was in Al-Anon I attribute my WAKING UP to some of those speakers. I also listened to some of the speakers at some NA meetings with my xhb and also found them to be VERY motivational.
I think they do a fabulous job of finding the quality speakers.. I especially like the ones at http://www.xa-speakers.org/
You'll find speakers from AA, NA, CA, Al-Anon. SOME of them are just simply awesome!
I find I like the ones that have a bit of humor in them, listening to recovering addicts that are able to laugh today is motivational alone.
